Giant Uncle, part of Royal De Luxe’s Titanic Anniversary street theatre event which took part in Liverpool over this weekend. 

This guy came round the corner and rode past my flat on Friday, absolutely incredible. Unfortunately my sleeping pattern ruined my plans to watch today’s finale - in which Giant Uncle, Little Girl and Xolo the Dog congregate at the Albert Dock before sailing off down the Mersey in their own little boat. 

I love how French street theatre companies seem to be so attracted to Liverpool, what with this weekend-long production and La Princesse: the giant robot spider that roamed the city’s streets a couple of years ago (which I also missed due to sleep reasons and the fact I’m a massive idiot).
